Deaflympic Players Refused To Leave Delhi Airport In Protest Against Govt’s Indifference

Indian players who had recently taken part in the Deaflympics 2017 and had represented India have refused to leave the Delhi airport in protest on Tuesday morning, as reported by news agency ANI.

They expressed their anger since no one from the government including Sports Minister Vijay Goel had come to welcome them when they landed the Delhi airport. The medal winners from Deaflympics 2017 have reportedly refused to leave the airport in protest while asking the reason why the government is not showing care enough for them even when they had done the nation proud. Ketan Shah, the project manager of the team blasted with anger saying, “These medal winners made nation proud but no one not even sports minister here to welcome us”.
